Η Χριστίνα Κλεισιάρη είναι μεταδιδάκτωρ και μέλος του Εργαστηρίου Αγροτικής Οικονομίας και Καταναλωτικής Συμπεριφοράς του Πανεπιστημίου Θεσσαλίας. Η έρευνά της επικεντρώνεται στην «Αξιολόγηση της διαδικασίας λήψης αποφάσεων των καταναλωτών σε διάφορα στάδια της εφοδιατικής αλυσίδας» χρησιμοποιώντας διαφορετικές μεθοδολογικές προσεγγίσεις. Στην έρευνά της, εξετάζει και ερμηνεύει τους βασικούς παράγοντες που επηρεάζουν τη λήψη καταναλωτικών αποφάσεων συσχετίζοντάς τους με τα κοινωνικοοικονομικά χαρακτηριστικά των καταναλωτών. Με τη χρήση των κατάλληλων μεθοδολογικών εργαλείων και με βάση τις απαιτήσεις των καταναλωτών μπορούν να αναπτυχθούν δυναμικά μείγματα μάρκετινγκ, προσαρμοσμένα στις μεταβαλλόμενες ανάγκες της σύγχρονης κοινωνίας.
