Enraged peasants besiege the centers of many European cities, setting up roadblocks on country roads. The farmers are protesting and demanding immediate satisfaction of their demands. Although the European governments seem to have been taken by surprise by the farmers’ mobilizations, in fact the ground was ready. The mobilizations spread very quickly from East to West and from North to South of Europe.
