Kyriaki Kechri is a PhD candidate and junior researcher at the Laboratory of Agricultural Economics and Consumer Behaviour of the University of Thessaly. She holds an Integrated Master in Agriculture, Crop Production and Rural Environment from the same University. She has received training in the evaluation of the post-harvest quality of fruits, aromatic plants and vegetables produced in vertical farming systems, at the company Infarm – Indoor Urban Farming GmbH in Berlin, and also has experience in digitisation using QGIS.

Currently, her research focuses on food consumer behaviour and sustainability, with particular interest in innovative digital methodologies for studying consumer decision-making in the agri-food sector. Specifically, her PhD research explores the suitability and potential of emerging technologies for capturing and evaluating food consumption patterns and preferences. Her work also incorporates participatory approaches for promoting more sustainable food systems. As a researcher at the Laboratory, she is involved in several European research projects, including FOODMISSION, RestPoll, NATAE and DIONYSUS.
