On 20 July 2026, an online testing workshop introduced the DIONYSUS-inov Decision Support System to stakeholders from the Greek Demonstration Site. The platform is the project’s web-based tool for co-designing adaptation solutions and assessing their impact and feasibility. The session had two purposes: to present the platform to local stakeholders and to gather their feedback on impressions, expectations and suggestions, so that the platform can evolve into a genuinely useful tool.
Participants were walked through the platform’s purpose, its user roles and its beta status, together with the operational and strategic business model canvases behind it, and were given access details and translation support. The walkthrough started with the farmer profile and then moved to the policymaker and researcher profiles and their respective dashboards, covering how to submit data, run simulations and read the results.
The main finding was unambiguous, and worth reporting plainly: stakeholders found the platform difficult to use in its current beta form and asked for something simpler and more approachable for farmers, who are the core end-user group at the Greek site. Further comments were invited on how data are presented, on multilingual support and on export options.
Testing exists precisely to surface this kind of verdict before a tool is finished. The agreed response is iterative simplification of the farmer interface, followed by another round of testing.
