Recognised innovators holding their certificates behind a curved conference table at the FAO conference

We are glad to share more from the FAO Global Conference for Actions on One Health in Agrifood Systems (21-23 September 2026): a photo of all the finalists and innovators recognised under the FAO initiative “One Health in agrifood systems: Recognition for good practices, success stories and innovations in applying the One Health approach”.

The Laboratory’s contribution from the European project NATAE, entitled “Promotion of agroecological practices in agricultural systems in Northern African countries via the Living Lab mechanism”, was among the initiatives recognised at the ceremony. All initiatives were assessed by an international panel of experts nominated by FAO, against five criteria: impact, innovation, inclusivity, scalability and sustainability.

Our certificate of recognition, presented at the conference in September 2026, acknowledges the NATAE work as a good practice and innovation in One Health in agrifood systems. The certificate is available in our earlier post on the recognition, and you can read about our participation in the conference in AgrEconLab at the FAO Global Conference for Actions on One Health in Agrifood Systems.

The full list of recognised initiatives is available on the FAO website.
