Our team presents the GreenDriedFruits-App — the software we developed within the PRIMA project GreenDriedFruits to bring post-harvest thermal disinfestation of dried fruits into everyday practice. The platform helps warehouse operators, farmers and cooperatives safeguard food safety and quality, offering precision control of every treatment and clear, data-driven insights.
A full video demo is now available, with a step-by-step walkthrough of the app’s functionalities:
- Configuring and initiating a new thermal treatment.
- Testing “what-if” scenarios — changing a parameter such as temperature and instantly recalculating the required treatment duration.
- Monitoring active treatments in real time, with a live countdown to process completion.
- Asking the built-in Generative AI personal assistant questions in plain language and getting instant answers drawn from the treatment database.
The app is the software half of “WP4 – Large scale experiments and Sensor-App prototype development”, the work package our team presented at the project’s annual meeting in Izmir.
